Reverse Osmosis Water filtration technology was invented by a research team from University of California & University of Florida in 1950 to purify chemically contaminated water. Since then the technology has evolved in to a commercial scale and been used worldwide as the most advance purification system. Key differentiation of this product from other commonly used water filtering systems is that its ability to remove all dissolved chemicals including heavy metal such as Arsenic, Cadmium etc. in water. The technology has 5 stage filtering process in which a set of three free filters remove all soiled particles in the water while the 4th filter, the membrane which is the main technology in the system permits only the water molecules to pass through.
